Engraver’s Assistant

As an Engraver’s Assistant, you will assist in the design and engraving process, however, your primary job is operating the engraving machine.

Job Description

Engraving:

  • Cleans and maintains engraving machine.

  • Report all issues with the machine to the Head of the Department.

  • Keeps assembly department and surrounding areas clean and free of foreign object damage.

  • Keeps Head of Department advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.

  • Engraves or cuts lettering, design, or characters in workpiece surface ( mainly wood), using hand tools and an engraving machine.

  • Sketches, traces, or scribes layout lines and design on pieces using the compass, scriber, graver, pencil.

  • Operates machine to engrave designs into pieces assigned.

  • Reviews sketches, diagrams, blueprints, or photographs to determine the design to be cut or engraved.

  • Measures and computes dimensions of lettering, designs, or patterns to be engraved.

  • Ensures pieces are distributed to quality assurance for final inspection before shipping.

Engraver/ Designer

As an Engraver/Designer, you will create visual text and imagery concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. Operating an engraving machine.

Qualification and Experience: 

  • Degree in Design / Graphic Design / Product Design 
  • A minimum of  One  (1) year of experience in the field 
  • Expert knowledge of the company’s processes, products
  • Knowledge of the relevant computer systems and applications 
  • Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals

  • Assists with designs, Artwork, Labels, Flyers, etc for the company.

  • Designs Products based on specifications and target market.

  • Uses Mixed Media.

Sales Representative – White House

Roles:

  • Hosts Pop-Ups Shops at Resorts 
  • Interacts with visitors to Jamaica 

Skills:

  • Ability to build & maintain relationships 
  • Stock Count and Recordkeeping

Skilled Builder P/T & F/T

As a Joiner, you will work with wood to create a variety of structures and items. This can include but will not be limited to wood products, doors, furniture, and more. As a joiner, you will make and install these structures and fittings in the correct locations all the while maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy.

Trainee Builder

As a trainee builder, you will work with the organization to gain invaluable skills and experience, and an overall feel for the woodwork industry. Sales Administrator

The Sales Administrator will receive and process sale orders online, over the phone, or via email. Duties will include but not be limited to checking the accuracy of orders and issuing invoices, maintaining sales records, and compiling monthly sales reports.
